Her Broadway debut, the 1967 production "Johnny No-Trump," formally launched her career in theater. Her following production entitled "George M." earned her a Theater World Award for her dazzling portrayal of Josie Cohan. An amazing Broadway performer, Peters was also the recipient of a Drama Desk Award for her role in the off-Broadway musical "Dames at Sea." Aside from theater acting, she also starred in numerous movies, such as "Silent Movie," "Pink Cadillac," "Impromptu," and "It Runs in the Family." Due to her incredible acting talent, she has also received a Golden Globe Award for her role in the movie "Pennies from Heaven."
