|Eva Green was born in Paris, France. For 3 years, she studied acting in Paris and also had a polishing course for 10 weeks at London's Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. In 2001, Green started her professional career. She acted in 'Jalousie En Trois Fax,' a play, portraying the role of Iris. Her performance gave her critical acclaim, and she was nominated for 'Les Molières' in the Révélation Théâtrale Féminine category. She had her second stage performance, portraying the role of a coquette in the 2002 play 'Turcaret'. Green made her film debut in the movie of Bernardo Bertolucci, 'The Dreamers', co-starring Louis Garrel and Michael Pitt. Her performance was greeted with critical acclaim, and notoriety, too for a full frontal nudity. She portrayed the role of Countess Clarisse de Dreux-Soubise in the French movie ' Arsène Lupin' in 2004. It was under the direction of Jean-Paul Salomé, and it starred Romain Duris and Kristin Scott Thomas. She portrayed in 2005 the role of Sibylla of Jerusalem in 'Kingdom of Heaven', a Ridley Scott film, with Orlando Bloom portraying Balian, a medieval French blacksmith. Green became a "Bond girl", starring as Vesper Lynd in 'Casino Royale' with Daniel Craig as the new James Bond 007. Green got a BAFTA Orange Rising Star award in 2007.||
