| Most famous for her role as Edie Britt in the Emmy and Golden Globe-award winning show “Desperate Housewives,” Nicolette Sheridan is one of the hottest TV stars today. Born in Sussex, England on November 21, 1963, Nicolette entered made her acting debut with “Paper Dolls” in 1984. It was, however, in 1986 that Nicolette landed the role that will catapult her to stardom. She was cast as Paige Matheson in CBS' hit prime time show, “Knots Landing,” and since then, it has all been downhill for the gorgeous Nicolette. When a casting call for “Desperate Housewives” came, Nicolette tried out for the part of Bree VanDecamp, but got the part of Edie Brit instead. The hit TV series gave Nicolette a renewed popularity. Nicolette found herself in the pages of many magazines, including Maxim where she was named the 48th hottest actress in the men's mag's Hot 100 list. At present, Nicolette is engaged to singer, Michael Bolton whom she already previously had a relationship with. |
