Veronica Cartwright bio
British actress Veronica Cartwright was born in England in 1950. Her first taste of the entertainment business was when she appeared in "In Love and War," she was 8. That child role opened more opportunities for Cartwright to display her thespian skills. She was part of television shows "Leave it to Beaver," "The Twilight Zone," and Daniel Boone. However, she had not encounter a good acting break while she was on her teen years. The big projects, "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" and "Alien," came in late 1970s. Other notable films include 1976's "Inserts," 1983's "The Right Stuff," 1996's "Shoot the Moon," 2001's "Scary Movie 2," and 2004's "Kinsey." Her television career is far more successful with projects like "Miami Vice," "Baywatch," "ER," "The X-Files," "Will & Grace," and "Six Feet Under" among others. Her work in "ER" and "The X-Files" produced Emmy nominations in three consecutive years, from 1997 to 1999.
